1988 New fermentation plant operated (in Ansan city)
1985 US FDA approval for Rifampicin
1980 Rifampicin fermentation production started
US FDA approval for Oxytetracycline and Tetracycline
1974 Construction of the nation’s largest fermentation plant completed
1970 First in Korea to export Antibiotic APIs to USA, Japan and Southeast Asia
1969 Company name changed to "Chong Kun Dang Corp."
1968 US FDA approval for Chloramphenicol(First US FDA approval in Korea)
1965 Chloramphenicol production started
1956 "Chong Kun Dang Pharmaceutical Corp." established
about 30 pharmaceutical products launched
1941 "Gungbon Pharmacy" founded on May 7, 1941
